The Newsroom or Quebec is an American series created by Aaron
Sorkin and put on air from June 24, 2012 on HBO in the United States and Canada
on HBO.
After a media outlet very noticeable - especially when he
says that "the United States are no longer the best in the world" -
the star presenter of an American news channel back in business.
But Will McAvoy is a nearly empty newsroom. Now he will do
with a new team of journalists led by Mackenzie MacHale, with whom he has a
complicated relationship. His arrival radically change the editorial line of
the show News Night broadcast on the evening Atlantis Cable News (ACN). Very
talented, but stuck in a numbing routine for years, Will has to change its way
of working.
Gone are the big show, the team is now trying to expose the
lies, including politicians. A return to the basics of journalism, without
corruption and with information sourced and verified. But this attempt to
competitors differently at a price: hearings. The direction of the chain is not
really happy, especially when Will and his team attack the groups funding the
chain.
